List of Projects

Electromagnetic Gun (Coilgun)

This is a project that I and my colleague started in the summer of grade 9, for the sake of learning experinece. Coilgun is particular type of gun that utilizes electromagnetic forces to shoot a bullet. 

Roller Coaster

​

As a part of my grade 11 physics class at A.Y. Jackson Secondary School, we were asked to build a roller coaster, where the train was a glass or steel marble.This project was a very valuable experience in teaching me and my group lessons regarding planning of a project.

Bridge Design

​

One of the assignments of the Structures and Materials course (CIV102) at the University of Toronto was designing a pedestrian truss bridge which could be implemented in real world.

Sudoku Solver

​

In the summer of 2012 I decided to write a program in C++ that could automatically solve a Sudoku puzzle. This was a very valuable experience in that it motivated me to learn more programming concepts and ideas.

Bridge Design and Construction

​

As our final assignment for the Structures and Materials course (CIV102) at the University of Toronto, we designed and built a bridge made out of less than 750g cardboard which was able to hold a load of 1106N.

RFP: Improving Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus

In my second engineering design course (Praxis 2), our first major assignment was to prepare a Request for Proposal (RFP) just as a professional engineer would.

Liquid Cooling Garment for Heat Stress Management in Firefighters

 

 

For the final project of the Engineering Design 2 course (Praxis 2), we had to work in groups of 4 and propose a solution to a Request for Proposal (RFP).
